2018 Love of Learning award

Hannah Clipp, who was inducted into the University of Delaware Phi Kappa Phi chapter in 2018 as a graduate student and recently earned a Master of Science in Wildlife Ecology, has been awarded a $500 Phi Kappa Phi Love of Learning Award.  Love of Learning Awards help fund post-baccalaureate professional development for active Phi Kappa Phi members.

Hannah is currently in her first semester as a Ph.D. student in the West Virginia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. She is pursuing a doctoral degree in Forest Resources Science, specializing in Wildlife Resources, at West Virginia University. The Phi Kappa Phi Love of Learning award will support Hannah’s  graduate education and professional development by covering the cost of textbooks and membership fees for professional societies (specifically the American Ornithological Society and the national, state, and university chapters of The Wildlife Society). Being a member of the leading wildlife and ornithological societies is critical for networking with fellow scientists, accessing society journals, and professional development.
